There's a new adidas ballet sneaker in town called the Anfu Mary Jane, and it's even cooler than any other Three-Stripes sneakerinas that came before.

That's no shade to the previous adidas ballet styles (they've been great). But not many can say that they've gotten a co-sign from BLACKPINK's Jennie out of the gate.

Indeed, the K-pop star and adidas muse previously performed in the newest Anfu Mary Jane model, wearing a black-and-white pair (the shoes are also expected to debut in white and red colorways).

You'd be forgiven for mistaking the Anfu Mary Jane for the Tokyo MJ. They look a lot alike.

The original Anfu sneaker even resembles the OG adidas Tokyo, with both featuring classic slimmed-out, retro-sporty, flat designs.

However, the Anfu Mary Jane has a crisp all-leather construction, whereas the Tokyo MJ typically has a suede-and-leather upper. Also, the Anfu is a little less strappy, equipped with a nice triple-banded lace system for a secure enough fit.

It's unknown when the sneakers will release and whether they will be available globally. But with a Jennie co-sign and a trendy ballet-inspired look, the Anfu Mary Jane already has the makings of the next "it" ballerina sneaker.
