The adidas Tokyo MJ is already a cool ballet sneaker. But the newest all-black, all-leather iteration is easily the model's best look yet.

On a normal day, the Mary Jane-style Tokyo sneaker offers a rather textural design, complete with some classic leather hints. But the latest puts on a full-leather trench coat.

The results are this extra-slick, extra-stylish take on the model, which, again, didn't have a problem with looking good in the first place (snakeskin pairs, anyone?). adidas just made it better.

For the ballerina sneakerheads wondering, the Tokyo MJ still has stretchy straps and a general minimalist vibe (super-thinned-out soles included). These details are now paired with sleek leather, dressed in a nice rotation-ready "Core Black" colorway.

Actually, there's more leather goodness where that came from. adidas has also prepared the newest leather Tokyo MJ version in pink and beige color schemes. All are now available on adidas Korea's website for 139,000 won, roughly $90.

Let's hope the newest Tokyo MJs will plié their way to a wider release.
