AIK Fotboll, one of Sweden’s top professional football teams, surprised us all last year when it dropped two of the best jerseys of the year. The first was a totally blacked-out effort that sold out in under an hour, while the second was a white and gold masterpiece.

This year, the club has decided to take things back in time with a retro-inspired jersey featuring an oversized badge on a clean white base. The jersey is called the Behrens jersey and is named after the club’s first chairman, Isodor Behrens.

While AIK only finished fourth last season, it will be hoping that its fortunes improve this year. If you ask us, the club has already won the pre-season title of best retro football jersey. The oversized badge is a nice touch, and the black and gold provides a nice contrast to the all-white base.

The limited-edition jersey is available at ProDirect from 2pm CET on March 11. A percentage of the shirt sale revenue will go towards paying for 129 children to attend Sweden’s largest camp, Stadium Sportscamp.
