The rap beef between Drake and Pusha-T may be over, perhaps thanks to J. Prince stopping Drake from dropping an "overwhelming" diss track on Pusha-T, following the details revealed in the brutal clap back, "The Story of Adidon" by Pusha.

Other artists in the industry have been sharing their thoughts about the feud, including Ja Rule this past weekend, and now Diddy, weighing in on the subject during a phone interview with the The Breakfast Club Thursday morning.

Diddy mentioned that the beef reminded him of the battle between The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur, and also admits that Drake "took the L" for not responding. However, the hip-hop mogul adds that Drake did the right thing by taking J. Prince's advice to not release his response diss track. "If you're trying to be the best MC, there's gonna be battles," Diddy said. "At this juncture in time, it's kinda safe. When we was having battles, it was getting unsafe."

Adding, that Drake getting an "OG call" from J. Prince was similar to him telling Biggie not to respond to 2Pac's "Hit 'Em Up" diss. "He should listen to J. Prince because I was in that same position," he said. "I was in that same position with ['Hit 'Em Up'] and I told Big not to respond, so I can understand."
