Heads up NYC, Footaction is hosting an invite-only party to celebrate the designers of its latest ‘No 1 Way’ campaign, and we’re offering a few lucky readers a chance to attend. ‘No 1 Way’ is an ongoing campaign from the national retailer of lifestyle apparel, footwear, and accessories that spotlights individual style inspired by the next generation of creators.

The event goes down Wednesday, December 18 at a secret location in Manhattan, and we’re linking up with Justin Mensinger and Natalya Amres, the upcycle designers Footaction tapped, for a hands-on customization experience.

The duo will host a workshop showing off the same techniques used to create their collections, which guests will immediately put to use at customization stations throughout the space. Personalization options include screenprinting and patchwork on a range of Champion, Levi's, and Tommy Hilfiger gear.

The collection created by Natalya Amres.

For budding designers like Mensinger and Amres, it’s a rare opportunity to educate people who may or may not be familiar with their work IRL, something that Footaction has accomplished with ‘No 1 Way.’
