2015 has been relatively quiet thus far for TDE's Isaiah Rashad, but the Tennessee-bred rapper has ended the recent radio silence with a new track titled "Nelly." As per Rashad's past approach to songwriting, the introspective track bears a similar tone to previous releases such as "Heavenly Father," as both deliver pragmatic lyricism coupled with downtempo production. In the self-aware stanzas of "Nelly," Rashad is mindful of his unorthodox stature when compared to typical rappers, spitting "We can't be no number one, but we can be the jam."

If you're looking for more TDE news, listen to Rashad's labelmate Jay Rock on his new album 90059.
