Japanese Brand JieDa Makes Ellesse's Sportswear Basics Unrecognizable

Editor’s Notes: JieDa teams up with heritage sportswear brand Ellesse to rework some of the latter's sportswear basics. This results in pieces originally designed for athletic purposes redesigned beyond recognition, in line with the Japanese brand's exaggerated silhouettes and fine attention to detail.
Ellesse branding, meanwhile, is about as subtle as can be given it's a collaboration, with the half-ball logo implemented cleverly above JieDa's own lettering. Functionality is key in this collection with zips, lacing and storage units acting as the prime design aspect of the collaborative offerings.
The collaborative shoes in particular, which feature Highsnobiety-favorite BOA lacing technology, are undoubtedly the standout piece from the collection. A closer look can be seen below.
