Finnish sports brand Karhu has joined forces with another iconic Finnish brand, Artek, to create a special edition of the classic Stool 60.

Originally designed in 1933, the stackable Stool 60 remains a modern staple. The limited edition stool is instantly recognizable as a Karhu piece, with the classic orange and black color scheme. The Finnish-made stool comprises of a black leather seat, and orange and natural birch wood legs. A Karhu bear is wood burned on the underside of the seat.

The $350 stool will be available in a limited run of 80 pieces worldwide on December 7, from the Karhu Concept Store in Helsinki, on Karhu.com, and Likelihood in Seattle.

In other European design news, Dieter Rams has designed a handbag.
