Champion gymnast, and owner of 106 gold medals, Mr. Li Ning started his namesake label back in 1990, established on a vision to provide Chinese Olympic athletes with a home-built brand to sport on the world stage. Now a global sportswear leader, Li-Ning's athleisure apparel still channels the country that birthed it, with Chinese characters and symbolism appearing across its assortment. From sports-influenced fleece to loose-fit tees, Montreal-based luxe purveyor SSENSE has the latest Li-Ning goods available to shop online now.

Inspired by sportswear but ready for everyday use, Li-Ning garments are ultra-wearable. In the tops department, this black fleece, featuring nylon patch pockets with bungee-style fastening, is a great staple piece that can be matched up against a wide range of trouser choice. The loose-fit turtleneck, reminiscent of vintage Olympic gear, is another highlight.

As well as its athleisure prowess, Li-Ning has also become well known for its wild sneaker output. Recently dropped, the Arc Ace is an alien-like shoe which Li-Ning says is inspired by traditional Chinese carving techniques. This beige colorway is a fall-ready option that's offset by the eye-catching orange lining.
