An Air Force 1 with a sunny disposition? Why not? Nike’s 40-year-old basketball staple gets a fresh coat of design seemingly every week. From dark, chocolatey leather pairs to quietly luxe, stitched-up editions, the Air Force 1 has proven it can wear just about anything.

Still, you don’t often see one this bright.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “White/Black/Orange Peel” keeps things familiar up top, pairing a crisp white leather upper with softly textured suede eyestays for a little added depth.

Small details do their part, too, like a mini orange Swoosh embroidered near the toe, a larger panel Swoosh on the side, and basketball-shaped lace dubraes that nod gently to the model’s hardwood roots. But the real mood shift happens underfoot.

Instead of another solid rubber sole, Nike opts for a translucent gradient midsole that fades from vibrant orange into cool blue.

The effect feels less performance-driven and more atmospheric, like a sunset stretching across the horizon.

Despite the colorful flex, the rest of the shoe stays grounded. This is still an everyday Air Force 1, just one that lets the sole do the talking while everything else stays clean and wearable.

Expected to release overseas in Spring 2026 via Nike’s website, the “White/Black/Orange Peel” Air Force 1 is a reminder that even four decades in, Nike still knows how to keep its most beloved sneaker feeling fresh. Sometimes all it takes is a good sunset.
