What We’re Saying: Fans of the Air Jordan 5 will be pleased to know that the "Oreo" colorway is confirmed to return in 2021. Multiple sneaker insiders began reporting on the upcoming release several months back, and more recently, we've been blessed with official images of the pair, along with a rumored release date of September 11.

The "Oreo" Air Jordan 5 first arrived in the fall of 2013, accounting for one of the best-selling Jordans that year. More than 500,000 pairs were sold, which is considerable for a non-OG colorway.

Adhering to the name of the colorway, the sneaker is dressed in black nubuck, while the white shading comes into play via the lining and midsole. Below, the outsole bears an icy, semi-translucent effect. The Jumpman logo emerges in silver on the tongue, heel, insole, and outsole to properly brand the pair, while an Air Jordan tag is stitched to the inside of the tongue.

Nike has yet to announce the 2021 release date for the "Oreo" Air Jordan 5, but all signs are pointing to a September 11 launch through SNKRS and select retailers. As always, be sure to check back with us for confirmation.
