In 2024, Nike let the world know that its super techy Air Max TL 2.5 sneaker was back, reintroduced through a team-up with one of its biggest collaborators, plus a few retro-style general releases. The Air Max model is already starting its 2025 off right — I mean, bright — with an incredibly clean chromed-out release.

Metallic silver completely takes over the chunked-up Nike Air Max TL 2.5 sneaker, bringing an immaculate glimmer to its highly meshy (and wavy) uppers. Really, the revived model could pass for the next good-looking "Silver Bullet" Air Max sneaker.

It just needs the red Swoosh like the iconic Air Max 97s famously associated with the beloved color scheme (those skate-able Ishods, too).

The Air Max TL 2.5 even sort of resembles the 97s (it also came out in the '90s ). But the teched-up sneaker is pretty unique, having this distinctive upper design and soles featuring total Nike Air. Not to mention, it was also lucky enough to enjoy a spin from COMME des GARÇONS.

The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 advances its quietly good streak with the "Metallic Silver" colorway, which is expected to land soon. And as the weather warms up, the model will also be heating up with more fire schemes, including a sick "Black/University Red" sneaker.
