The result of any Palace collaboration at the very least is that it gets people talking.

From Gucci and C.P. Company, to Calvin Klein and Stella Artois, a Palace collab doesn’t feel like a Palace collab without a significant amount of hype.

However, when it comes to the London label’s latest link-up with Pennsylvania-based jersey aficionados Camber USA, it’s quite the opposite. In fact, I’d go as far as to say this is about as low-key as a Palace collab can get. Which is a good thing.

Slated to be landing online February 17, Palace x Camber is made up of a selection of colorful high-quality heavyweight jersey pieces, including hoodies, joggers, and tees. And while this might not be Palace’s most high-profile or even most marketable collab, it could well be one of its finest.

Heavyweight jersey fan readers will likely be well aware of Camber USA. Renowned as one of the finest in the business of no-fuss heavyweight garments, there isn’t much the Norristown-based family-run company doesn’t know about sweats, not least because it's been doing it for over 40 years.

Unusually for Palace, things have been kept low-key both in terms of hype and aesthetics. Where they often tend to stamp their authority on other labels' garments, they've stuck firmly with the Camber's distinct and minimalistic DNA.

Sure, Palace x Camber might not be the most expensive, or have the biggest resale value, but it might just be its finest partnership to-date. Assemble, heavyweight heads!
