Pharrell Williams has been busy teasing a brand new adidas collaboration on social media. The sneaker in question, officially called the Pharrell Williams x adidas Human Race Sichona, has been spotted on Pharrell’s feet, as well as on Lil Uzi Vert and a number of other lucky recipients of the all-green colorway.

The all-green colorway is apparently a friends and family release, limited to just 146 pairs, and gifted to select individuals affiliated with Pharrell and adidas.

The Sichona features what is said to be a circular knit upper with “Human Race” printed along the sides and a sock-like collar at the ankle. A rubber sole unit not too dissimilar from the adidas YEEZY Boost 380 “Alien” sits underfoot, although it’s not clear if the sneaker is Boost-equipped or not.

Pharrell’s adidas line spans several different models, though it’s the Hu NMD that has been most popular and carrying the collaboration in recent years. This new and seemingly totally original silhouette is expected to be released in other colorways at some point this summer.

The sneaker community on Instagram is definitely intrigued, but only time will where the sneaker will rank alongside other Pharrell x adidas collaborations. Stay tuned for more information.
