NBA star P.J. Tucker, best known among sneakerheads for wearing some of the rarest, most coveted kicks during NBA games, is nearing an agreement on a new endorsement deal with Nike, according to CNBC. The Houston Rockets forward’s previous deal with Nike expired on October 1.

Speaking to CNBC, Tucker's agent Andre Buck revealed that Tucker has been getting attention from other brands, such as PUMA, adidas, and New Balance. Buck also claimed that Tucker is expected to secure a multi-year, six-figure sneaker deal. Should the deal go through, this would be Tucker's biggest endorsement deal yet.

"He’s been happy with the level of interest from the various brands," Buck told CNBC. "So much of the sneaker culture, even beyond basketball, is a part of his life."

P.J. Tucker is widely recognized as the NBA’s undisputed king of sneakers. He's collaborated with the likes of Giuseppe Zanotti and has admitted to spending over $30,000 on sneakers alone.
