Editor’s Notes: Reebok is digging into its archive to reintroduce the Instapump Fury, a ’90s performance sneaker that seemed like something out of sci-fi when it dropped in 1994, under the name Instapump OG.

According to the brand, the Instapump OG doesn't update designer Steven Smith's Instapump Fury OG, but is instead the same sneaker that turned heads in the mid ’90s, including laceless design and missing chunk in the midsole.

"Every layer of the Instapump’s material has a purpose and a reason for being — and it’s hard to improve on that," Reebok says. "The future was then — and now it’s back again."

To celebrate the Instapump Fury's 25th anniversary, Reebok will be dropping two colorways of the Instapump OG on April 5.
