Three Studio Ghibli film scores are getting reissued on vinyl for the first time, Pitchfork reports.

Nausicaä of the Valley of Wind (1984), My Neighbor Totoro (1988), and Castle in the Sky (1986) are the three classic Ghibli movie soundtracks chosen for the release. All the titles were scored by Japanese composer and musical director, Joe Hisaishi.

On top of the original soundtracks, Tokuma (the entertainment publishing company that funded the three films) will also be releasing a "sound book" version of Totoro's score, alongside symphony recordings from Nasuicaä and Castle in the Sky. Get a symphonic taster below.

The records will arrive via Bleep in November, and the covers look set to feature a mixture of digital and analogue illustrations.
