Double Tap to Zoom

A few days back, SZA had to cancel some performances on the TDE Championship Tour due to swollen vocal chords. After returning to the stage last night at Madison Square Garden in New York, she shared that she might actually have permanent vocal chord damage, which she explained in a since-deleted series of tweets archived by Vulture. Now, TDE boss Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith has taken to Twitter to reassure everyone that she'll be just fine, writing, "i will get her with the best doctors".

“My voice is permanently injured . Great !!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYYYYYUUYH!!!!!!!!’n”, she originally wrote in the first deleted tweet, followed by “Tonight was the test . That settles that,” concluding with, “I jus wanna be left alone my priorities are fucked up . They been fucked up . I need space goodbye .” She deleted the tweets shortly thereafter.

Last week, SZA reposted a statement from TDE boss Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith on her Instagram, explaining that touring for 11 consecutive months had taken a toll on her voice, saying, "Usually steroids and pushing through help. They don’t this time." She also added, "If I don’t pause now I’ll be forced to pause permanently."
