New set photos from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier have emerged and they reveal our first look at Wyatt Russell as John Walker. It's what he's wearing, however, that's causing heads to turn — this first look shows him carrying Captian America's shield and wearing a new Cap costume.

The upcoming Disney+ series is Marvel Studio's first foray into MCU-centered TV shows and will see Avengers stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan reprising their roles as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier and Sam Wilson/Falcon respectively.

While Avengers: Endgame teased Falcon as the next Captain America following Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), these new set photos could hint that things may not go according to plan. That would make sense, too, as according to Screen Rant, Walker adopts the Captain America mantel for a while before he becomes a U.S. Agent.
