Netflix has dropped the official trailer for Martin Scorsese's new film The Irishman ahead of its New York Film Festival premiere later this week. And it's absolutely stacked with new footage. Watch above.

Fast-paced, tongue-in-cheek, and gritty, the trailer showcases a number of scenes that prove the king of the gangster genre (Casino, Goodfellas, Taxi Driver) is back, and he's back in style.

The trailer opens with a job interview featuring the film's lead Frank Sheeran (Robert De Niro), a WWII vet turned mob hitman that allegedly played a role in the death of American activist and union leader, Jimmy Hoffa. It's the plot of Hoffa's assassination that provides the basis for the two-and-half-minute clip, which also stars Joe Pesci, Al Pacino, and others.

The trailer also offers a closer look at the movie's VFX techniques, namely its de-aging magic on De Niro.

The Irishman lands in select theaters from November 1 and on Netflix November 27.
