Adam Sandler Is a Jewelry Dealer to the Stars in First Trailer for 'Uncut Gems'

Today A24 shares the first trailer for the Safdie brothers' (Heaven Knows What, Good Time) anticipated new film, Uncut Gems, starring Adam Sandler.

Sandler portrays Howard Ratner in the crime-drama, a New York City jewelry dealer to the rich and famous, with clients that include Kevin Garnett and The Weeknd, both of whom play themselves in the movie. Ratner's world is turned upside down when he makes a series of high-stakes bets that could ultimately impact his business as well as his family.

Lakeith Stanfield also stars in Uncut Gems, while Idina Menzel, Julia Fox, Eric Bogosian, and Judd Hirsch feature. The film, which is already receiving rave reviews from festival screenings, is scored by Daniel Lopatin, aka Oneohtrix Point Never.

Uncut Gems releases December 13.
