Vans has produced some pretty classy skate shoes in the past. But this new limited-edition Authentic might be the finest of them all.

From afar, it looks like another classic black Authentic sneaker. But up close, quality details reveal a seriously luxe build.

Specifically, the latest Authentic comes wrapped in pebbled leather and extra-creamy suede, quietly elevating Vans' most classic design to top-tier status.

Of course, you can still expect many of the classic Authentic touches like its traditional almond shape and thick rubber soles ready for gripping boards.

It's just now dressed up for a world beyond the skate park, much like the brand's other sneakers, which have received Harris Tweed makeovers and even spins from luxury fashion labels in the past.

By the way, "Chanel" skate shoes, anyone?

Anywho, back to the new Vans Authentic 44 "Antwerp Fade" sneakers. These won't be easy to cop, as they're exclusively available at 417 ÉDIFICE for ¥12,650, or roughly $80.

Not bad for a high-end Vans classic.
