Rapper Mac P Dawg was reportedly shot and killed late last night in Los Angeles. While there has been no official word on his death, members of LA-based music group Shoreline Mafia have taken to social media to confirm his passing and pay tribute to the musician.

Record executive and podcaster Adam Grandmaison, better known as Adam22, was one of the first to speak on the death of Mac P Dawg. "Shoreline Mafia associate @MACPDAWG was gunned down in LA tonight. Rest In Peace," he tweeted.

Mac P Dawg was known for such tracks as “Let Me Know” featuring Ohgeesy, “On the Go,” “Salt Shaker,” and “Savages,” as the rapper had accumulated millions of streams over the past year. The story surrounding his alleged death is still developing.
