Niente di Nuovo
1 / 8

Niente di Nuovo (“nothing new” in Italian) is a new venture from Damian Collins. The project uses artisan techniques like boro — a Japanese method in which textiles are mended, restitched or patched together — to upcycle and revive vintage football jerseys that may have lost their shine over years of use.

Football jerseys, both vintage and new, have been worn more and more for style recently. Instead of tapping into that and bringing new products to the market, Collins has chosen to recycle jerseys that may have blemishes on them by fixing the wear and tear and creating a brand new product in the process.

Not only are the jerseys cool and wearable on and off the pitch, but they’re also representative of a conscious move towards a more circular economy.

Collins has worked as a celebrity stylist for Travis Scott, Neymar, Lewis Hamilton, and Rihanna. The upcycled Niente di Nuovo jerseys are available via the brand’s official website.
