Nike’s Mexico-Themed Air Max Sneaker Is Genuinely Flames
With the world's biggest soccer competition on the horizon, Nike continues to dish out the freshest Air Maxes for fans and even the teams themselves. Next on the menu? A fiery Air Max 95 for Mexico.
The Air Max 95 "Mexico" sneaker lands with creamy leather layers topped with a subtle flames graphic made of tiny dots. It's all realized in a nice cream-white, red, and green scheme that plays on Mexico F.C.'s team colors.
There aren't any team crests as seen with other efforts, likely because Mexico isn't on Nike's roster. The team is an adidas partner, with the German sportswear brand directly responsible for its official gear.
However, there's no denying the nods to the Mexico national soccer team throughout the Air Max 95. Nike even calls its sneakers "El Tiempo F.C.," as stamped on the heel. It's all good, clean fun for the World Cup.
Honestly, Nike has blessed soccer fans with a few nice Air Maxes ahead of the games, including clean pairs for England and its fans alongside other general soccer-themed models.
Many have already been released, including the "Mexico" Air Max 95s, which are now available on Nike's website for $200.
Good. It's just more time to get those 'fits ready.
