After a slew of canceled events, Paris Fashion Week has been confirmed for September 2020. The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode made the public announcement this week, disclosing that the women’s Spring/Summer 2021 shows will take place between September 28 and October 6.

The physical shows during Paris Fashion Week will be augmented by an online platform. In an official statement, the Fédération said it will "comply with its implementation to the recommendations of public authorities.”

It remains to be seen which brands will be participating in Paris Fashion Week, as some have resorted to presenting collections on their own time in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

As it stands, Paris Fashion Week will be 2020's first confirmed physical fashion week, although New York Fashion Week is scheduled for September 11, but it has yet to be confirmed. Couture and men's week were both canceled this summer, while London Fashion Week was held digitally.
