Double Tap to Zoom

Nike’s Air Max sneaker offerings just keep quietly expanding. Specifically, the brand-new Nike Air Max Bia shoe is a sporty silhouette dialing down the noise and doubling up on stealthy all-black minimalism, with a dose of classic Nike Air Max sportiness.

This isn’t a techy, bright-colored Air Max sneaker, which makes it something of an anomaly within the otherwise bubble-soled sneaker range.

Instead, the Nike Air Max Bia sneaker arrives dipped head-to-toe in blacked-out mesh and layered panels of tough texture, accented only by a crisp white Nike logo on the tongue and a Swoosh on the midfoot.

Nike’s tried-and-tested Air Max cushioning peeks out under the shoe's heel, contrasting the matte upper with glossily opaque tech detailing.

The midsole’s sharp geometric carve-outs keep things looking lightweight and future-facing rather than clunky or retro.

There’s an unspoken confidence that comes along with wearing a black sneaker like this particular Air Max shoe.

That is to say, this all-new Air Max Bia sneaker is simpler and more stripped-back than most of its fellow sporty Nike Air Max shoes, especially some of the hybrid styles that Nike has rolled out as of late (remember the crazy Air Max loafer?)

But that's not a bad thing. Not by a long shot.

Nike's Air Max Bia sneaker is entirely wearable, it's plenty functional for casual wear, and it's available now on Nike's website for just $90.
