A Simple Trail Trick Made Nike's Dad Shoes Perfectly Outdoorsy
Nike's latest P-6000 sneaker looks mighty trail-ready.
The sportswear brand has swapped its regular shoelaces for quicklaces with an adjustable toggle. As simple as the update may sound, it honestly pushed the dad shoe model toward gorpcore territory.
Nike's P-6000 has certainly shown signs of being a potential solid outdoor sneaker (if the brand were ever to make that move officially). The sneaker naturally has a rugged edge due to its technical design. It's also quite familiar with some of the best outdoor tech, like Cordura.
And the Nike sneaker has the looks, for sure. It's appeared in many stylish colorways, many of which would look just as good on the trails as they do on the streets. The latest arrives in the classic "Sail" colorway, which has previously graced Off-White™'s coveted Jordan 4s and Pegasus Premium running shoes.
Now, the Nike dad sneaker is out here rocking a trail sneaker's signature shoelaces. And it's nailing the aesthetic with ease, at that.
Underneath the new outdoorsy look, the P-6000 sneaker offers its signature mesh and suede construction, paired with its chunky cushioned soles.
The trail-coded Nike P-6000 is currently up for grabs on Nike Japan's website for around $90, available in "Sail" and "Burgundy Crush" colorways.
